      Overview

Understanding the specific needs of cats is essential for providing a high standard of client care and patient welfare. This course is designed for receptionists and non-clinical staff, as well as PCAs and Student Veterinary Nurses, to build confidence when assisting owners of fearful or anxious cats. You will learn to identify the subtle signs of feline fear and explore the common causes behind these behaviours. The training provides practical guidance on how to construct a feline-friendly reception area to minimise stress upon arrival. Furthermore, you will gain the knowledge to advise owners on making their homes more feline-friendly, ensuring a consistent approach to wellbeing and supporting the treatment plans prescribed by the clinical team.
